We need your help to get our ad spaces filled! If you have a knack for networking or know local businesses that could benefit from advertising, please consider printing and sharing our flyer. With over 700 homes in Chimney Springs, your connections could make a big difference. Together, we can keep our community vibrant and thriving!

Submission Guidelines & Standards
 
  • Print-Ready Ads Only: We do not create ads or offer graphic design services. You must submit a digital, print-ready ad — cell phone pictures of business cards or printouts are not acceptable.
  • Materials Deadline: All ad payments and materials are due by the 15th of the month preceding the issue date.
  • Ad Preparation Tips: To ensure your ad prints correctly, please follow these guidelines: convert all images to CMYK, use high-resolution graphics, ensure text remains within the safety margin, avoid using RGB or spot colors, and include bleed if your ad requires it.
What to Send
 
Our preferred format is Adobe Acrobat (PDF), but we also accept JPEG, TIF, or PNG files.
 
Specific Instructions for PDF Ads
 
  • Color and grayscale images should downsample to 300dpi with maximum quality JPEG or automatic compression.
  • Monochrome images should downsample to 1200dpi.
  • Disable all printer marks and ensure no bleed.
  • Subset all fonts below 100%.

Unacceptable File Formats
 
  • Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint

Photograph Submissions
 
Images should be 300 dpi at publication size (e.g., 5" x 4"). Submit high-resolution images saved with high-quality compression. Always submit in color when possible.

  • Homeowner Shout-Out (⅛ page): $25 for 30 words & a picture
  • Full-page insert/flyer (Black & White): $210
  • Full-page insert/flyer (Color): $298
We offer a discount if you buy ads in bulk:
 
  • 1st Month: Full price 
  • 2nd Month: 10% off full price 
  • 3rd Month and thereafter: 15% off full price

  • Half Page: 7.5” x 5”
  • Quarter Page: 3.75” x 5”
  • Eighth Page: 1.875” x 2.5”

  • Inside front/back cover (Black): $298 - first come, first serve
  • Inside front/back cover (Color): $348 - first come, first serve

For 2025, the inside back cover, full, and half page ads are still available. Ad payment and materials are due by December 15, 2024.
 
How to Submit
 
Send completed advertising files via email to communications@chimneysprings.org. All ad payments and materials are due by the 15th of the month preceding the issue date.
